Greenville SC postpartum doula and Divinity Doula founder Jernae Webb holding her newborn in a bright bedroom with white walls, large windows, and a patterned rug.

Hi, I’m Jernae Webb.

Divinity Doula was born from my own journey into motherhood — a journey filled with love, but also loneliness, overwhelm, and unanswered questions.

My Story

With my first baby, I struggled with postpartum rage, breastfeeding challenges (especially when returning to work), undiagnosed ADHD, exhaustion, and the stress of a home that felt out of control. I longed for community, support, and someone who understood what I was feeling.

As I grew into a mother of three, new challenges surfaced — unsafe daycare environments, unreliable nannies, caregivers who brought their own children who mistreated mine, and the fear of wanting to homeschool but not knowing where to start. I didn’t see anyone who looked like me offering homeschool support, and the help that did exist was often unaffordable.

For over four years, I’ve been doing this work professionally — supporting families through the fourth trimester, guiding early learning at home, and walking alongside mothers as they navigate the earliest seasons of parenthood. I homeschooled my oldest and prepared her for 4K, and that experience deepened my passion for early childhood development and accessible education.

These experiences shaped the heart of my work: creating safe, supportive, culturally aware care for families who deserve better.
